Storyline
When a ravenous curse takes hold of the kingdom, the monsters of British and Irish legend become Hungry Horrors, and every one of them is heading straight for the Princess. Spoilt and in no mood for adventure, she would far rather stay in bed and leave the problem to someone else. The Horrors, unfortunately, have other ideas. Rather than fight them, the Princess cooks. Serving dishes from real British and Irish recipes, from Boxty and Cullen Skink to Sticky Toffee Pudding, she must keep each Horror fed before it reaches her and feeds on her instead. Redcaps, Knuckers, Banshees and many more each have their own way of finishing her if they get close enough. Along the way she meets figures from the same legends, including Ceridwen and Failinis.Read more
