- Storyline
X-Blades is a fast-paced hack and slash adventure starring Ayumi, a spirited young treasure hunter who fights with a pair of gun-blades. Its tale is rooted in an ancient myth: long ago the universe was ruled by two divine brothers, the benevolent Enlightened and the malevolent Dark One, whose eternal rivalry brought endless suffering to mortals. Through a cunning trick, the Enlightened at last sealed the Dark One's power inside an Artifact, sacrificing his own divinity in the process, and hid two immensely powerful stones deep within a great temple. Yet those artifacts hold absolute power, both good and evil, and any mortal who touches them risks a terrible curse. The story begins when a map lost for countless ages suddenly resurfaces, revealing the location of these fabled treasures. Lured by their promise, Ayumi sets off in search of the stones, unaware that a dark and ancient power lies waiting to awaken within her once she reaches them.Read more
