- Storyline
Broken Age is a hand-painted point-and-click adventure that tells two parallel coming-of-age stories the player can switch between at will. Vella Tartine is a young woman selected to be offered up as a willing sacrifice to a monstrous creature during her village's traditional Maiden's Feast, but she refuses to accept her fate and sets out to fight back. Shay Volta is a lonely teenage boy living aboard a spaceship, coddled by an overprotective computer that fills his days with hollow make-believe missions until he yearns to break free. As each teen struggles against the roles imposed on them, their seemingly separate worlds hint at deeper connections waiting to be uncovered.Read more
